Am looking at buying board form here and was wondering about the quality.
The price is definitely right. I'm not surfing it Indo, just a point in Vic on average waves.
I've read an old forum on them, was just wondering if anything has changed.
Really don't want to slam the guy if anybody feels negative, I'm sure he is doing his best to make a quid like the rest of us.
Anybody see any of these recently?
Thanks

Got a pic? Or are you ordering a custom?

To be quite honest,I was thinking of sending dimensions of a popular board that goes for around $1200.
I realise it's not like I'm buying a house, I just don't want to throw away money on a board that doesn't work.

Had a look on his website & fb, read the seabreeze thread. 499 for a longboard sounds to good to be true. But the guy seems to understand boards (never been in his shop, so who am I to judge). I guess it also depends on what you're after, a performance mal or just a fun log to take out on those knee high days. Why not have a chat with rasta or South coast. Pretty sure they can shape you something of good quality for a reasonable price. Support local

I visited the factory on Saturday and met Bob. He seems really genuine and knows his stuff. He's been making boards for 35 yrs. I doubt he would be still going if he didn't produce a half decent board. He has good reasons for selling boards for $499 and he is still making a fair profit.
Checked out a few of his boards and they look really well made.
So I have ordered a 9'6" Old school nose rider.
Polished finish was an extra $50
